Sample Accessioning and Cataloging
Every specimen entering our repository undergoes a standardized accessioning workflow. Samples are assigned unique identifiers, linked to comprehensive metadata profiles, and cataloged within our laboratory information management system. Required data fields are enforced at intake to ensure complete annotation from day one, because downstream value depends on upstream data quality. Our cataloging system supports complex queries, collection-level reporting, and integration with client data systems.
Chain of Custody and Specimen Distribution
Every movement of a specimen within or out of our repository is tracked under strict chain of custody protocols. Transfers are logged with timestamps, handler identification, condition verification, and receiving confirmation. When specimens are distributed to clients or collaborating partners, they are shipped under validated transport conditions with continuous temperature monitoring and documented handoff procedures. Our goal is that every sample arrives with a complete, unbroken provenance record so recipients can use it with full confidence in its integrity.
